> 21.05.2004 FAQ We got a new FAQ and got back
to build daily versions, the
Milestones are available from the GForge project page.
> 15.05.2004 JZuul Milestone 1 In perfect harmony with our release schedule
Milestone 1 was released today. New features include the new Target
Manager to add support for dynamic generated tasks during a game. Know
Issues: Saving and Loading won't work at the moment because the XML
writing code needs a rewrite. If you depend on these features wait for
Milestone 2.
Update: Added the UML stuff. (Yeah right - JZuul's origin is an university project and that's why we have to provide those ugly uml charts :-D ). What is JZuul?JZuul is a text adventure and
interactive fiction framework written in Java created during an
University course in Object
Oriented Software Engineering. The JZuul Project consists of two major
parts: the JZuul Engine and the JZuul Game Editor. The Engine is an
abstract base for games, providing features such as a dialog system,
iteractive objects and non-player characters, multiplayer capabilities,
saving and loading, and maps. The Game Editor is a SWT based GUI for
easily creating XML Gamefiles running on the Engine. Those two
components
together form the base for easy game creation and lots of hours of
gaming....
JZuul
is free software as it distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License Version 2. A German translation of the GPL is also available.
